Thrust bearings support the axial thrust of both horizontal and vertical shafts. The functions are to prevent the shaft from drifting in the axial direction and to transfer thrust loads applied on the shaft. These are most used in relatively slow movement application.

STEERING BEARINGS
These bearings have tight press fit upper and lower outer races in the frame, as well as a lower inner race that is press fit to the steering stem. The upper inner race is a little too big for me.
