THRUST BEARINGS

The functions are to keep the shaft from drifting in the axial direction and to transfer the thrust loads that are applied to it.
Thrust Bearing

Thrust bearings support the axial thrust of both horizontal and vertical shafts. The functions are to prevent the shaft from drifting in the axial direction and to transfer thrust loads applied on the shaft. These are most used in relatively slow movement application.
