KING PIN BEARINGS

They are available in two types: caged and cageless (Full Complement Type), and have a high capacity for taking even high shock loads. They have two tapered thrust races, rollers, a cage, and an outer retainer that holds the components.

They take up very high shock loads on the steering king pin.

They contain 2 tapered drive races, rollers, cage (in caged type) and an outer retainer which holds components.

They are of 2 Kinds:

  • Complete complement types (without cage).
  • Captive type.
